HANDS OF THE BADGER SAYS RSPCA

Those of you who follow this sites posts will have enjoyed the thoughts of “The Badger”, a commentator who has proved pretty active of late. Whilst glancing at today’s letters page in the Gazette, I honestly thought the intrigue was all over. “No need for badger cull” is the header of the last letter on the page. Fearing the worst, the letter actually relates to the governments decision to look at a badger cull to reduce bovine TB in cattle (I don’t want to enter into this debate).

Luckily then, our own furry f(r)iend remains safe for the time being, though I suspect certain leading Councillors would like to see the local badger population reduced by one as soon as possible.
