FEAR OF POLITICS

Due to the perilous nature of modern day politics, councillors and full time officials in the Borough have been forced to take out personal insurance in case they are sued, challenged at meetings, deselected, voted out or woken up during Cabinet meetings. Part of this exercise involved a medical declaration, revealing that some Councillors etc suffer from some extremely strange phobias:

COUNCILLOR DAVID POTTS
SCOPOPOBIA – FEAR OF BEING SEEN

BRIAN T SCOTT, HEAD OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
EPISTEMOPHOBIA – FEAR OF KNOWLEDGE
LITICAPHOBIA – FEAR OF LAWSUITS
