WHO'S NEXT?

Naturally, the Eye makes great play on the fact that the head of the National Audit Office, Sir John Bourn, has had to resign.

With impeccable journalistic tenacity, the Eye have for some time publicised the dreadful personal expenditure of this man, a government appointed figure who during his tenure managed to spend £365,000 in travel expenses and £27,000 on restaurant bills.

What has annoyed the Eye however is that certain national newspapers like the Daily Mail and the Guardian, jumped on the bandwagon and broke the resignation story with expenditure shenanigans as if it were there own.

Never mind, we know who really deserves the accolades. Mind you, I wonder who the Eye has in its sights now?
