THE PHONEY WAR IS OVER!

Thursday’s open meeting at the New Crown Hotel to discuss the Gypsies Green Stadium plans was a resounding success, with standing room only in what was a large functions room.

Unlike many other public meetings I have attended, the gathering maintained a semblance of structure through out and all campaign issues were fully discussed openly.

A coherent policy has now been adopted and planned which will take the issue well into the summer of 2008, such is the level of commitment to fight the proposals.

I won’t be revealing all here (why should I give the Council a pre emptive strike). However, various tactics shall be outlined EXCLUSIVELY here over the next few days.

As they say about certain councillors mentalities, watch this space!
