You don’t think South Tyneside Council are secretly backing Channel 4 do you? Come to think of it the comedy channel might be more appropriate especially as they already have established ‘stars’ such as the Chuckle Brothers, Lord and Lady Maggot, Scott of the Constitution and Irene ‘I’ve just won another award’!
