Tucked in at the bottom of page 14 of the paper and something which could easily be missed (is that not the point?) is the news that a new book on Dr David Kelly makes a strong assertion that he was murdered. Author Norman Baker, an MP no less, claims that Kelly’s method of suicide could not have killed him. With no finger prints on the knife, very little blood and a less than fatal dose of painkillers in the blood stream, the whole affair has “cover up” stamped all over it.
No doubt Dr Kelly’s family will be distressed by publicity generated by this book, but hopefully the search for the truth will outweigh any heart ache they will face.
