A little snippet in yesterdays Sunday Sun shows that whilst South Tyneside Council are extremely generous with our money when it comes to lining the pockets of outside agencies, they are less than 4 stars when compared to their colleagues in Northumberland. £1 million has been put aside for consultants with the brief to “change the cultural identity” of the Council, together with a further £1 million to hire business experts to help “support” the hand over to a unitary authority.
Here’s hoping the mandarins at Town Hall haven’t seen this article.

You can be sure that waste management will be the next big money making scam for outside agencies and consultants, I know I have seen some of the figures.
