There will be no posts for 2 days due to am important family birthday which takes me to a where area thankfully, technology has not caught up with the modern world!
The reference made was due to the fact that Dufton YHA did not have a broad band or internet link as some others do. Mind you, a weekend without PC’s and TV was extremely relaxing. We heard nothing about the “real” world till Sunday evening. Would I trade sitting on the edge of “High Cup Nick” for the political intrigues of South Tyneside? You bet I would.

Having said that, I've looked up other bloggers who give "Lake District" as their location and I can see what you mean.
